Sparkling pianist Dave Jones brings his revamped acoustic trio to Café Jazz, as guests of Cardiff Jazz Society, on Thursday 10 June (8.45pm). Dave Jones' piano style recalls Ramsey Lewis for easy sparkle and lilt, and Herbie Hancock for chordal invention. His skills as a composer are also highlighted here, as his trio launches their new cd “Journeys”.
